How do I Clear Cache in EdFusion for Vermont State Reporting?

Introduction

While working with data in Vermont’s State Longitudinal Data System (SDLS) EdFusion, there may be times that some errors do not appear to be logical for the data being submitted.

Refer to the Agency of Education (AOE) Knowledge Base for a variety of useful SLDS Resources to research the errors.

If a solution is not found to correct the error, it might be that some data has remained “in cache” and can be cleared using a feature in EdFusion.

Accessing EdFusion

Using your credentials, log into EdFusion.

From the home page > select Integrate > Clear All Previous Data

Clear All Previous Data

  • Domain
    • Auto populated to “Submission”
  • School Year
    • Auto populates to 2023 – DC#03_NightlyCollection_Unofficial
  • Collection Template(s)
    • You may select “All” or use the checkboxes to select “specific files” (depending on the current submission window).
  • Submitting Org
    • Auto populates to your Org
  • Click “Clear All Previous Data”

Submission SFTP

Using the dropdown menu at the top > hover over Integrate > Submission SFTP to view file upload history.

Upload History

  • Once the files have completed processing
  • Locate the “Upload Batch ID”
  • Click on the “View Details” hyperlink to view details regarding the submission

Once all data has been cleared, when ready, generate new files from your SIS and upload to EdFusion, then review the files and errors after they have processed.
