What Data Elements are included in the Org Profile Holidays file for Vermont State Reporting?

Introduction

The Org Profile Holidays file contains basic information about your Organization. This article is intended to guide you through the data elements captured in the Org Profile Holidays file, in order to locate the information in PowerSchool.

Data Elements

The following are the data elements contained in the 8a_OrgProfile_Holidays file (defined later in this article).

• ADMINID
• ORGID
• HOLIDAY
• SY

Note: In the instructions below, the above State Data Elements are listed in Parentheses with the PowerSchool field name preceding the State Field name. i.e. School Year (SY)

The data elements found in the Org Profile file are a byproduct of Beginning of Year (BOY) setup or are auto populated from other areas in PowerSchool.

• Supervisory Union ID (ADMINID)
  • The AOE assigned ID to the Supervisory Union or District.

• Org ID (ORGID)
  • The VT AOE assigned unique identifier for an organization providing direct instructional or educational services.
    • Embedded in the setup of PowerSchool
    • Reference the AOE’s Org ID codeset for a list of Org IDs

• Holiday (HOLIDAY)
  • A month, day, and year for each date(s) that school is not in session. These dates include in-service days, emergency closings and scheduled holidays. Please include weekdays only.

• School Year (SY)
  • The school year for which data is being submitted.
