Introduction
The Org Profile file contains basic information about your Organization. This article is intended to guide you through the data elements captured in the Org Profile file, in order to locate the information in PowerSchool.
Data Elements
The following are the data elements contained in the 8_OrgProfile file (defined later in this article).

The data elements found in the Org Profile file are a byproduct of Beginning of Year (BOY) setup or are aggregate counts from PowerSchool.
Note: In the instructions below, the above State Data Elements are listed in Parentheses with the PowerSchool field name preceding the State Field name. ie.e School Year (SY)

Navigating to Data Elements
From the Start Page (School level) > from the left menu panel select School (Setup)
Select Calendar Setup (Calendaring)
Click on Verify # of school days in the current term hyperlink.
The total # of school days will be displayed.
- Session Days (SESSDAYS)
- The total session days for a given school year time frame.
To edit > click the back button to access the calendar to adjust by day. Remember to save.
Kindergarten Part-time AM/PM Session
Part-Time Kinder is tracked in two separate areas within PowerSchool.
* If you do not have Part-Time Kindergarten, skip this portion.
Step 1: Select the student > from the Start Page > Transfer Info (Enrollment) > Click on the Current Enrollment.
Then select the applicable “Track”.
Step 2: Calendar Setup – (School level > from the left side menu > School (Setup) > Calendar Setup (Calendering).
- Kindergarten Part Time Morning Session (Track B)
- Kindergarten Part Time Afternoon Session (Track C)
If the school has AM/PM Part Time Kinder, the applicable track must be selected for days in session in addition to tracks that apply to other grades.
- Kinder Part-time AM Session (KP_AM_SESS)
- The total number of kindergarten part-time morning session days in a given school year time frame.
- Kinder Part-time PM Session (KP_PM_SESS)
- The total number of kindergarten part-time afternoon session days in a given school year time frame.

The remaining data elements are created during the beginning of year set-up and auto populated in the 8_OrgProfile file.
- Supervisory Union ID (ADMINID)
- The AOE assigned ID to the Supervisory Union or District.
- Org ID (ORGID)
- The VT AOE assigned unique identifier for an organization providing direct instructional or educational services.
- School Year Time Frame Begin Date (SYTFRAMEBEG)
- The month, day, and year on which a school year time frame begins on the first session day. (This is not the Fiscal Year, but rather the first day classes begin)
- School Year Time Frame End Date (SYTFRAMEEND)
- The month, day, and year on which a school year time frame ended on the last session day. (This is not the Fiscal Year, but rather the first day classes begin)
- School Year Time Frame (SYTFRAME)
- A codeset value indicating the associated school year timeframe, whether ‘Regular’ or ‘Summer’ session.
- School Year (SY)
- The school year for which data is being submitted.
