When you are ready to enroll a student into a course section in PowerSchool, you can do so using the following steps provided that:
- you have the name of the student
 - you have the start date of the student in the course section
 - the section is correctly setup for the appropriate term and teacher.
 
Step 1:  Select your student > Courses and Programs > Modify Course Schedule

Step 2: Enter the course section enrollment attributes by:
a) Enter the Effective Enrollment Date – This is the first day of attendance in the soon to be specified course section.
b) If you wish to search for the section by course section, enter the course section in the area labeled 2a) and click “Find”. If you are unsure about the course section, you may also search available courses by selecting the period number in the area labeled 2b) and click “Find”.
If you are REALLY not sure which course or period, select “All” under the area labeled 2b) and click “Find”

Step 3: Double check that the enroll date is correct and then click on the link that contains the Course Name of the course you wish to enroll the student in and viola! Your student is enrolled in the course section.
